For the placement of Russia’s first logistics center, METRO Group Dega Development selected a site on the territory of the Bogorodsk Industrial Park (Dega Park Bogorodsk). The warehouse became the main logo center providing goods to all trading divisions of the company in the country, including at the expense of its own fleet. The opening took place in 2008. Investments in the construction of the logo complex reached 70 million euros. METRO Group is one of the largest international trading companies in the world with more than 2,200 shopping centers in 31 countries.
